Owner/President Darin Tietgen has been working with architects, engineers and real estate developers for over 12 years. Since graduating from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a degree in Urban Planning, Mr. Tietgen has gained experience in the traffic engineering, environmental regulation, architectural and real estate due diligence fields. Mr. Tietgen was a planner with the County of Santa Barbara and has presented at over 50 City Council, Planning Commission, and Design Review hearings.
DWT Development Consulting was formed in California in 2004 to meet the demands of smaller architecture firms and real estate developers that simply don't have the time or manpower to perform the level of pre-acquisition due diligence some properties/projects require. Hiring DWT Development Consulting as your due diligence consultant means you will receive the most pertinent and accurate information related to your site before you sign on the dotted line.
Once the due diligence is complete and the deal is done, DWT Development Consulting can give your planning and building submittals the care necessary to obtain planning approvals and building permits in a timely fashion.
Once your project has building permits and land development and/or vertical construction has begun, DWT Development Consulting can serve as your eyes and ears, performing weekly or monthly inspections, providing a comprehensive report each time.
Mr. Tietgen is also a member of the Urban Land Institute and Real Estate Council of Austin.
